What is Green 4 Grenfell Day?
After the Grenfell tragedy in 2017, people from all over the UK came and volunteered to help.
We hold #Green4GrenfellDay to appreciate and thank our community who continue to support us.
You can get involved as an individual, a family, a community group or with your school or workplace by doing something good for your community and taking a moment to thank and recognise local community heroes.
Join us from 6th-18th June 2022. Follow and join in on Twitter , Instagram and on Facebook.
What has our impact been?
Green 4 Grenfell Day was first held in 2017, to commemorate those who helped our community. Our campaign had schools from across the country wear green and raise awareness for local causes. Here’s a short clip from BBC Breakfast.
We also asked people to nominate a #CommunityHero. One Community hero was Bishop Julyan Drew, who served his community in Cornwall selflessly and impacted so many peoples hearts.
Cornwall Hugs Grenfell is a wonderful support group who previously created this Grenfell song, sung by many schools in the last 2 years.
