Nearly 10 years on - where are we now?

Nearly 10 years after the Grenfell Tower fire, our fight continues.

Since 2017, bereaved families and survivors have fought to uncover the truth, demand justice for the 72 lives taken from us and create lasting change so no other community experiences what happened at Grenfell.

We have exposed the failures that led to Grenfell. We have forced change. But our fight is not over.

The truth has been uncovered. Now we need justice.

The Grenfell Tower Inquiry confirmed what we have always known - Grenfell was not an accident. It was the result of decades of failures by those responsible for keeping people safe.

But nearly 10 years later, no one has been held accountable.

Families continue to wait for criminal charges and justice for the 72. We will not stop until those responsible are held to account.

Promises must become action.

The Inquiry made clear recommendations to stop another Grenfell from happening again.

Now Government must deliver.

We continue to fight for every recommendation to be implemented in full - including stronger regulation, safer homes, better protections for residents and a system that puts people before profit.

Change cannot wait until another tragedy happens.

Changing a system that failed us.

Grenfell exposed a system where residents were ignored and safety warnings were dismissed.

Our fight has always been about making sure people are heard.

We continue to campaign for a future where everyone is safe in their home, where safety is put before profit and those with power are accountable for their decisions.

Our fight is about justice for our 72 loved ones, and about protecting people across the country.

Everyone deserves to be safe in their home. Everyone deserves to be listened to. And those with power must be held accountable when they fail.

Nearly 10 years on, we are still here.
